Introduction

RapVideo AI ("we", "the service") generates short rap videos from a photo and a text prompt. Because the product is built around photos of people, this policy pays special attention to how those photos are handled. By using the service you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

  1. Account Information — Your email address and authentication data (managed by our auth provider).
  2. Input Photos — The photo you upload to generate a video.
  3. Prompts & Generation Data — The prompt text you write and the rendering parameters (resolution, duration), stored with each video project.
  4. Generated Videos — The rendered output stored in our object storage and visible only in your account.
  5. Usage Data — Feature usage, device/browser information, and analytics events.
  6. Payment Information — Billing is handled by our payment processor (Waffo). We never see or store your full card number.

Photo Handling (Important)

  • Uploaded photos are used only to render your video.
  • Photos (and any input assets) are automatically deleted 7 days after the render via enforced storage lifecycle rules.
  • Generated videos and photos are never published, sold, or shared with other users. Renders are private to your account.
  • You may only upload photos of people who have agreed to appear in the video. Do not upload photos of minors without a guardian's consent, and do not use photos to impersonate or harass anyone.

How We Use Your Information

  • To generate your videos and deliver them to your account.
  • To process payments and grant purchased credits.
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, security notices, support).
  • To prevent fraud and abuse.

Service Providers We Share Data With

We share the minimum data required to operate, under their data-processing terms:

  • SeeAPI — receives the input photo URL and prompt to run the Seedance 2.0 video model.
  • Waffo — receives your account email and order details to process payments.
  • Cloudflare (R2/CDN) — stores input photos (7-day lifecycle) and generated videos.
  • Email/analytics providers — as configured in the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

  • Input photos: 7 days after rendering, then permanently deleted.
  • Generated videos: retained until you delete them (deletion in My Videos is available at any time).
  • Account and billing records: retained as long as your account exists and as required by law.

Data Security

We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage for provider credentials, and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information (including deleting videos and your account) via account settings or by contacting us. If you are located in the EEA/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page.
